Holmes Labor and Delivery is a division of Health First Healthcare. Health First was founded in 1995 and has spent nearly thirty years providing Brevard County with unmatched healthcare. The not-for-profit has four different hospitals around the county to ensure you’re never too far from assistance.
Their birthing center at Holmes Regional Medical Center is committed to breaking down barriers when it comes to prenatal care. You can rest assured from the beginning of pregnancy, knowing you’re receiving the very best.
Services
Starting in the first trimester, you can begin care through Holmes Labor and Delivery. The center offers both obstetricians and midwives to assist you with every aspect of pregnancy. Your provider will work with you to prepare you for your delivery. You’ll build a birth plan and ensure you have the necessary information.
Once labor begins, you’ll check-in to a comfortable birth suite with nurses and doctors ready to assist. The private rooms have televisions, wifi, and cozy sleeper couches for your support person. Once you deliver, you’ll be moved into a recovery suite where you can recover with your baby by your side. The center provides lactation consultants to assist with breastfeeding and nurses who will assist you in those first few days.
Specialty
Holmes Labor and Delivery has the only Level II NICU in Brevard County. The NICU has ten beds, 24/7 intensive care nurses, comfortable waiting rooms, and lactation support. The unit has some of the best neonatologists who will provide unparalleled care for your newest family member. The unit is both private and secure to keep your family safe during this integral time.
